Weekly classes are Monday & Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Due to COVID, we have not been doing any in-person group classe; Our Manhattan studio is currently closed.  However, Karima Nadira is currently teaching my Oriental technique in on line classes via ZOOM from my Brooklyn studio while you dance with her in the comfort & privacy of your own premises.

$25 per class/ $110 for a 5-class card (2 month time limit)/ $200 for 10 classes (4 month time limit)

Karima NadiraMonday: 6:30-8:00 Basics for Learning & Strengthening Technique: Morocco’s very carefully designed barre / warmup using Oriental dance’s fundamental movement vocabulary in an easy to understand format. The movements are broken down into bite-sized pieces, so you don’t choke on them. This warmup / barre starts every Oriental dance class here, so that the “alphabet” of this wonderful dance becomes second nature to our students. Beginner to Advanced. (Karima Nadira)

  • What Do I wear to class?
  • Barefoot or flats: NO high heels, stockinged feet or street shoes.
  • Leotard/tights, sweats or skirt & top: must show body’s outline & permit visibility of movement.
  • A scarf or shawl to tie around your hips.
  • Please make sure that any beading, coins or ornamentation on your hipscarves is securely sewn.
  • Private dance lessons in my Brooklyn studio by appointment only
